Mariah G. Schug, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Gender, Women, and Sexuality at Widener University. Dr. Schug is trained in both anthropology and psychology. Her research considers how context and culture influence cognition and well-being. Much of her research is conducted in the Nordic society of the Faroe Islands.
