Donald Altman is a psychotherapist, former Buddhist monk, international mindfulness expert, speaker, and award-winning author of more than 15 books translated into languages worldwide. Donald is the host of Pathways Radio & Podcasts and profiled in The Living Spiritual Teachers Project. He served as vice-president of The Center for Mindful Eating and taught as an adjunct professor at Portland State University's Interpersonal Neurobiology Certificate Program and the Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling.

His award-winning novel Travelers, is a psychological and spiritual adventure. His Simply Mindful Book Series includes Simply Mindful Meal by Meal, Simply Mindful: A 7 Week Course and Personal Handbook for Mindful Living, Simply Mindful Resilience and The Simply Mindful Coloring Book. Donald's best-selling The Mindfulness Toolbox won two Ben Franklin Gold awards for Best Book in the Psychology and Body-Mind-Spirit categories.
