Danielle Ramo Ph.D.
Danielle Ramo, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist, researcher in digital mental health and substance use, and Chief Clinical Officer at BeMe Health, a mobile mental health platform designed to improve teen wellbeing. She is also Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and the Weill Institute for Neurosciences. Prior to joining BeMe Health Dr. Ramo was Senior Director of Research at Hopelab, a non-profit social innovation lab building behavior change tech to support teen mental wellness. Dr. Ramo’s background is in academic medicine, where she was an associate professor in psychiatry at UCSF, leading a program of research in using social media to understand and improve the lives of teens and young adults. She has published more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and multiple book chapters in substance use and mental health and received grants from the National Institutes of Health and the State of California to fund her research.
