Briana Mezuk, Ph.D., is a Professor of Epidemiology and Co-Director of the Center for Social Epidemiology and Population Health at the University of Michigan's School of Public Health. She completed a dual degree in Neuroscience and History & Philosophy of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Ph.D. in Mental Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She was a fellow with the Robert Wood Johnson Health & Society Scholars Program at the University of Michigan. Her research program examines the intersection of mental and physical health and how those intersections relate to social disparities in health outcomes.
