Bradley Thomas Ph.D.
Bradley Thomas, Ph.D., is the CEO and founder of Dr. Brad Therapy—a private psychotherapy practice in the heart of Manhattan that specializes in the treatment of adults and couples. As a licensed clinical psychologist, he has presented insights on implicit racial bias and antiracism to Fortune 500 companies and was featured on Your Best Self TV where he spoke about the stigma of mental health in the Black community. He has also been selected to author a book chapter, entitled The Racial Melancholia of Aspiring Black NFL Coaches (Rowman and Littlefield, 2024) and currently serves as a regular contributing writer on mental health for Authority Magazine.
Before practicing psychology, Thomas received a full football scholarship to Boston College before graduating with honors from Hampton University. His enthusiasm for athletics inspired him to subsequently work as a celebrity fitness trainer—an arena in which he has helped hundreds of clients improve their mental and physical health over his 20+ year career—and solidified his stature as a bona fide mind-body expert.
Dr. Brad obtained an MA in psychology and an MFA in creative non-fiction from The New School before earning a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The Graduate Center, CUNY.
