Amanda Rose Ph.D.
Amanda Rose, Ph.D., is a professor of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri. Dr. Rose’s research focuses on gender, especially in the context of adolescents’ and adults’ friendships and romantic relationships. She also regularly gives talks and teaches on Women’s Professional Development. Dr. Rose’s research has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, and she is an academic fellow of the American Psychological Association and the American Psychological Society. Dr. Rose lives in Columbia, Missouri with her husband, daughter (age 14), son (age 12) and Labrador retriever (age 1).
