Jacquelyn works with adult clients and adolescents, specializing in trauma healing, relationships and attachment, self-esteem, anxiety and depression. She believes that much of what keeps individuals disconnected from others and themselves is driven by unconscious patterns developed as coping mechanisms in response to trauma and emotional suppression. By deepening awareness about why people do what they do, her therapeutic process aims to help individuals identify these patterns, find emotional release, and realize choice, which can yield greater connection, and acceptance within and with others.
I see psychotherapy as a creative, collaborative and compassionate practice that helps us make meaning of our lives, deepens our self-awareness, and increases emotional literacy. I strive to create a space of safety to help you tell your story, understand the impact of the past on the present, and imagine possible futures.
It's essential to feel resonance and connection with the therapist you choose. I invite you to contact me for a free 15-minute phone consultation.
