Hello, I am a Clinical Psychologist and an EMDR practitioner. I have 13 years' of experience working with people with a wide range of mental health difficulties and I specialise in helping people with PTSD, complex trauma, OCD, anxiety and depression. It takes a lot of courage to talk about your mental health and seek support. I want to ensure you feel fully comfortable exploring any difficulties and I will take time to understand where you are feeling stuck, drawing out your inner strengths and working at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is integrative and I draw on different therapeutic models which means I can tailor therapy to help you achieve your goals and meet your needs. For some people, therapy may involve fostering a stronger sense of identity and self-esteem, adjusting to life changes and expanding on self-care strategies.
For others, therapy has helped with healing from adverse life experiences or past traumas, managing difficult feelings. Building a good therapeutic relationship is an extremely important part of therapy and this is fundamental to my approach. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and warm space to support you to explore, learn and grow.
