I am a certified Counsellor, specialising in Integrative Counselling. My therapeutic approach to each individual client is to bring together different elements of specific therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Humanistic Approach and Mindfulness. There is no single approach that can treat an individual in all situations. I take the view that each person needs to be considered and Integrative Therapy techniques must be tailored to his or her personal needs and circumstances. I have been working as a personal Therapist for over 10 years.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling (Integrative), MSc in Counselling Psychology. I have experience working with different cultural diversity, non-binary, asylum seekers, and diverse sexual backgrounds. I have counselled and mentored with different organisations, working with children, adolescents, young adults and the older adults.
I work with clients on any issues they wish to bring. I believe the client should set the agenda. I am happy to let the client lead their sessions or be a guide for them if they wish. Everyone is an individual and thus every therapeutic relationship formed is as individual as they are.
