If you or someone in your family are feeling down, anxious or worried, coming to arts therapy can make all the difference. Arts-based therapy is very effective for dealing with traumatic or difficult life experiences and mental health issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, confidence, or other issues that get in the way of our happiness. This mode of therapy is ideal for children and young people, even if they are not 'good at art'. By accessing their creative and intuitive brain, they are able to resolve issues that are bothering them through play and creative techniques.
I offer a safe and confidential space to explore the issues they are facing. I have had many years of successful experience working with children's mental health and currently work in schools as well as privately. I am fully insured and DBS checked and offer sessions either from my home in Hambleden or at the Cherry Tree Centre in Henley.
It can be hard seeing your child suffering with their mental health and it can be challenging taking the first steps to get therapy, but the benefits are life-changing.
