Hi, My name is Wendy and after 15 years of teaching, I decided to take my passion for pastoral care further and become a qualified counsellor. I work from a person-centered perspective but draw upon other modalities where appropriate to provide an individual approach. I provide a safe, welcoming and gentle space where you can express your thoughts and feelings in a completely confidential environment.
I have recently complete training in bereavement and have volunteered in a local centre for six months supporting bereaved people to find their way through this difficult time. I have also supported clients with depression, anxiety, lack of self esteem or self image issues, marital and relationship problems to mention a few. I offer non judgemental help.
We are all fighting our own battles and as such are looking for a way to articulate how we are feeling. I can offer you this space and sit along side you whilst you find your way back to your old self, or maybe you want to find a new you, whichever it is I am here to help.
