Hello. The decision to start therapy shows courage to face into and tackle issues and choices in life. This might be addressing a specific problem or challenge, or it may be about trying to make sense of things that have happened to you, or patterns that have become stuck. I am trained as a psychologist, psychotherapist and coach so we can work in the way that suits you best. I work with adults and adolescents (16+) using creative and evidence based approaches to support new ways of being. This includes people suffering with anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), low self-esteem but also more general challenges.
My background is broad and includes extensive training as a Doctoral level psychologist and at the Tavistock clinic. I have worked for the NHS in London as a psychotherapist and in a secure hospital in New York. As a result, I have spent thousands of hours listening to and helping people from all walks of life and with a wide variety of challenges.
The therapeutic relationship I seek to offer is as important as the training and techniques we might call on. To explore how you really think and feel you need to feel safe to share things and to be heard, accepted and understood without judgement. I aim to be a supportive ally for you, by your side and on your side, offering support as you seek answers.
