Counselling changed my life 11 years ago and I believe it can change yours too. Life can feel really hard at times and sometimes we might feel guilty or unreasonable for feeling this way because of a belief that there are always other people in a worse postition. All people's problems and difficulties are extremely unique and personal to them and I am passionate about helping people to understand why they think, feel and behave the way they do. Armed with this knowledge, people are able to start to take back control of their thoughts, feelings and behaviours and in turn, lead a happier, more content life.
I work with all common mental health issues. I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I have been trained in many different theories. This enables me to adapt and tailor how I work to ensure I can meet your individual needs and work with your expectations. These theories include Person Centred Therapy, Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I am able to see clients face to face or on Zoom and also offer a 'walk and talk' service for those that prefer this way of working. The relationship and connection between counsellor and client is central to the counselling process so I offer a free 15-30 minute telephone consultation to work out whether you feel we could work together.
