Every person has individual needs and their life experiences are unique. There are many different reasons people seek counselling support. Issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem, relationships, life events, difficult childhood experiences, loss and bereavement are just a few examples. By offering counselling to adults, children and young people it is my aim to provide empathy and understanding, to empower clients and enable them to grow in confidence to realise and understand that they hold the answers. You are the expert of you.
I am an integrative counsellor, trained in psychodynamic and person-centred counselling theories. I can see children, young people and adults. I provide a non-judgemental and empathic space that is nurturing and understanding. I believe that the therapeutic relationships between me and my clients will be key to enabling a successful outcome.
The decision to seek support through counselling is a big step and I will fall into step alongside my clients as we embark on a journey of growing self-awareness.
