Welcome! I work with a range of clients across the lifespan, and with a range of presenting issues. I have experience of working with anxiety, depression, stress, work and family related issues, and trauma. I have a strong NHS background in working with children and young people, and families, and this has helped me to hold attachment theory and early life experiences in mind when working with clients. I am committed to taking time to develop a therapeutic relationship in which the person feels comfortable to explore any issues that may be bringing them to therapy, and in working together towards their hopes for therapy.
I currently work mainly with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focussed Therapy. I find these approaches are helpful where people have experienced childhood trauma or are struggling with long term issues with their mental health.
