I am Vicki (she/her) a senior practitioner with 20 years of clinical experience within private, charitable, voluntary, judicial, health and social care sectors. I'm skilled at working with people throughout their lives; young adults currently make up most of my caseload, but I'm more than happy to work with people of any age. I have always been told that I am a warm, empathic, down to earth and non-judgemental person, with whom people feel at ease. I am open, honest, inclusive and respectful of diversity and able to provide evidence-based, compassionate support for a wide range of difficulties.
My approach is very much relationship based and I work collaboratively to build practical skills and adaptive strengths that can have a multitude of life-long applications. I offer a range of psychological therapies: ACT including Mindfulness techniques CBT & Compassion Focused.
For your peace of mind, I receive frequent supervision from Dr Adrian Morton who retains clinical responsibility. I have extensive knowledge, skills and experience in the following areas: Mood, Anxiety, Phobias, Psychosis, Addiction, Birth (pre and post natal trauma), Hypnosis & Gender
