I specialise (18 yrs experience) in working with young people and adults particularly neurodiverse individuals (Autism, AuDHD, ADHD, self-harm, OCD, stammer etc). Having trained and practised as a Speech & Language Therapist, I now focus on humanistic psychotherapy because it is my passion to support individuals in navigating their unique way of being in the world. As well as face to face and online sessions, I can offer animal therapy (I have a canine-concern registered black lab), assistance dogs are welcome and where needed I offer walking therapy as well as meeting clients in different locations to help with anxiety issues.
I have particular experience of working with: social anxiety, bereavement and life changing events such as divorce, menopause, miscarriage and disenfranchised loss. The focus of my practice is on developing self-awareness and growth within a wholly accepting and non-judgemental environment; for me therapy is all about connection and trust.
Life throws up constant challenges; big instant “everything shatters” ones and life-long ones. I can be by your side, look out of the same window as you, understand and support you on your journey.
