What brings you to counselling could be any number of reasons: You may have experienced the loss of a loved one; perhaps your life is in such chaos you can no longer see the forest for the trees; or, you may simply wish to look at yourself and your patterns of behaviour in a clearer light. What I offer is a space for you to come to terms with your life, free of judgement, so that you can live it to the fullest.
I'm an integrative counsellor, meaning I bring a variety of therapeutic models and methods together in a cohesive and fluid manner, best suited to your needs. My work has been with those who have experienced significant loss in their lives, as well as those with issues such as addiction, depression, anxiety, and problems in their relationships.
It can be a challenge to ask for help, many of us may have even grown up to believe that asking for help shows weakness. But what asking for help really does is express courage, it shows us that deep down we value ourselves and believe we are worth it, that we deserve better.
