Hi there, I am a psychotherapist in Cheadle Hulme. l love working with people and supporting them to make positive changes in their lives. We all share the desire and drive to be the best person we possibly can and to have healthy, loving relationships. Sometimes life gets in the way and we get stuck in a moment, a thought or a pattern of behaviour. Life can be difficult and the way forward is not always clear. Everyone can benefit from therapy for personal growth, to live in the here-and-now and to better connect with the things that matter to you. It is important to find the right therapist so I offer a free 50 minute session.
I trained in Integrative Psychotherapy specialising in Transactional Analysis, a theory of personality that looks at how our past can affect our present and how old belief systems can sometimes get in the way of making the changes we want. It is also a great tool for understanding how we communicate with others and for developing our own self awareness.
I have experience of working with relationship problems, cancer, anxiety and depression, surviving sexual abuse and bereavement. I work with both neurodiverse and neurotypical clients. Having worked in the corporate environment I am aware of the harm that work stress can have on our health and mental well. Please get in touch for a free initial session.
