I am a Senior Psychotherapist, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) and Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT). Specialities include assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, such as OCD, BDD, body image, phobias and depressive episodes. I work with you to understand family systems and break cycles. Previous positions at the Maudsley Hospital include head of the OCD/BDD anxiety unit, working alongside Prof D Veale. Team leader of the national outpatient unit and chairperson of the BABCP committee in the Isle of Man. I can also offer intensive treatment homevisits.
I specialise in helping you understand where your current struggle has arose from and from there we work on your values and goals to offer you an outcome that you can maintain. I also offer treatment for low self confidence and promoting personal growth. If you are repeating unhelpful patterns, we will use evidence based techniques to adapt these together.
