Sometimes it may feel as though patterns are being repeated over and over again and each time you find yourself surprised at reaching the same result. However, people are in constant motion and I hold to the notion that therapy enables self reflection and transformation driving along the process of change. In practice, I will try to ensure you experience a sense of safety in the space for us to better explore your way of being in the world and consider the importance of relationships and memory which are a transformative and pivotal part of what it is you bring to the work and are encouraged to share
We will explore your relationships with others and your sense of self, moving towards a place where you are best able to make healthy choices. Our sessions will offer a view of how your experiences and interactions have been internalised and represented to form a template for all future relationships. We will look to the past and the here and now for insight
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist and a member of BACP working with both individuals and couples. I trained as an integrative therapist, informed by the unconscious and the unpicking of motives influencing feelings and behaviour, as well as being influenced by theorists who value an existential approach to a person's lived experience.
