I am an experienced, BABCP Accredited, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) Working previously for the NHS in this capacity but now solely in private practice. I am further trained in Supervision, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Facilitator. Due to working for many years in the caring professions and especially as an Occupational Therapist in the community, I have gained experience of both physical disabilities/long term conditions and the low mood and anxieties that can often accompany them.
I specialize in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Trauma, Anxiety including Social and Health Anxiety, Phobias and Depression. I have a growing understanding of Neurodiversity, especially ADHD & ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) I am an LBGTQ+ Ally
