I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years of working with individuals and families who are feeling overwhelmed by the challenges that life has a habit of putting in front of us. I am extremely passionate about my work (ask anyone who knows me!) and gain a great deal of pleasure from observing the change that comes about with the help of therapeutic support.
My main area of expertise/interest is trauma. I have provided therapeutic interventions for over 10 years to victims of serious crime, using EMDR, CBT, and Systemic Therapy. I also specialise in developmental trauma and attachment issues, providing support to carers and adults who wish to come to terms with the impact of difficult childhood experiences.
My experiences give me a great deal of empathy, understanding, and insight into the impact of life events, allowing me to support others in a truly non-judgmental manner.
