Many of us suffer from anxiety, depression and stress during our lives. We may even experience trauma. As a person-centred counsellor trained in a pluralistic model, I have worked with various issues that people deal with on a daily basis. Therapy is a shared endeavour where a safe, open and non-judgemental space is essential to the therapy process.
I have an interest in existential therapy and how issues that we are facing relate to our lives as a whole. I have trained in a number of modalities, and have particular experience working in the areas of spirituality, sexuality, gender, trauma, addiction and mindfulness.
I work both online and in person, having a private room in my home in the Medway area. I enjoy working in short or longer term work, and find that regular checking-in with clients is important to ensure appropriate goal setting and a sense of forward movement.
