Starting counselling can feel like a daunting journey. I am here to provide you with the support you need to help you process your thoughts and feelings, and explore how you might move forward in your life. I am non-judgemental, accepting of you and your experiences, and here to listen to and work with whatever is on your mind. While counselling can be challenging at times, it can also come as a huge relief and be experienced as liberating and growthful.
I work with all types of people, across a broad range of situations and experiences. These include diagnosable mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, panic, trauma responses, and substance misuse. I also have particular interests in bereavement, loneliness, self-worth, life changes, identity, feeling overwhelmed/stuck, and finding meaning in life.
I have a range of experiences in counselling, having worked as a counsellor in a hospice, for a charity supporting people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, and for a charity supporting carers.
