One of the hardest things in life is to reach out and ask for help. I provide a calm and safe space in which you can explore and talk openly about your issues, struggles and life challenges. I see therapy as a deeply personal and private process that can be transformative. The first stage is building trust with me as your therapist so that you feel safe and able to talk about your issues. I am a transpersonal integrative therapist and trained with the Psychosynthesis Trust. I work creatively across various modalities both to support clients in their struggles and crises and to explore what is trying to emerge, whether it be a deeper sense of peace or purpose in their lives. I offer both short term and long term therapy.
I work with a wide range of people, of all ages. I have an extensive background in addiction recovery and have worked in Drug and Alcohol Primary Treatment and as a counsellor for the NHS. I have 20 years of experience in teaching somatic work and an interest in the connection between the mind, the body and feelings in overall wellbeing and mental health.
