I believe that counselling provides an opportunity for people facing difficult challenges in their lives to talk through their feelings and be empowered to find their own solutions in a safe and relaxed environment and at a pace, they are comfortable with. I listen to people empathetically in a non-judgemental manner to assist them to look at their problems.
I counsel adults (18+) and have experience in working with clients with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, stress and relationship issues amongst others. I have experience working with brief, short-term therapy of up to 6-10 sessions and more long-term open-ended therapy.
