I'm an integrative relational psychotherapist and I use my experience of talking and relating to you in sessions to understand your way of being in the world, how you make sense of it and how you relate to others. Your journey is unique. Every time I've been listened to and understood I've come away feeling cared for and valued with a new sense of worth. I've learned that change is inevitable and that how I care for myself in the present affects my future.
I am empathic, warm and compassionate. I enjoy my task of listening to you and learning from you where you are and where you would like to be. I work with people to resolve simple and complex issues that affected their personal life, work or happiness. Psychotherapy is a journey, undertaken in company in order to learn, develop and grow.
I offer you respect and a safe space to explore what is important to you. You are welcome to discuss working with me by text, phone or email. I see clients face to face in comfortable, well furnished rooms in Scarborough on Mondays and in York on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:00am and 7:30pm.
