Hi! I am Doug Edwards. I am an integrative psychotherapist. I absolutely believe that everyone has the capacity for transformation, at any time. I am passionate about helping people use their inner resources to achieve a greater sense of well-being and fulfilment in their lives. We will work together to form an authentic relationship and create a foundation for healing and growth. My specialist areas include anxiety, depression,trauma, neurodiversity,relationship issues, bereavement, parenting difficulties and anger/aggression. I also have extensive experience addressing addictions and am familiar with 12 step recovery programs.
I have practiced for many years at a family therapy Charity under the supervision and mentorship of Dr Chris Newman. (Goverment adviser on family systemics and domestic abuse). The experience and knowledge has informed my private practice and has shown me, that with the right guidance and support, we can feel differently about anything we may face.
