I treat depression and anxiety disorders such as specific phobias, PTSD, childhood trauma, OCD, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Social phobia, Panic and Agoraphobia and Health Anxiety. I also treat Anorexia nervosa and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). I treat individuals 16+ and couples too. In addition, I also offer CBT supervision to High Intensity Therapists and Psychological Well Being Practitioners in our service. I am happy to take on any private practitioner looking for a CBT supervisor.
I am a BABCP registered Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist. I am also employed by the NHS. I also offer Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT) which is a structured CBT based approach to coach couples experiencing relationship distress.
One of my skills is to look at how best I can help sustain recovery following treatment, looking at clinical issues as well as the wider well-being of clients. Enhancing your relationship- group
As a Behavioural Couples Therapist (BCT), I offer this group for couples who would like to invest in enhancing their marriage. We cover areas like Communication, Problem-solving, Joint-decision making and an optional add-on package called Sensate Focus which focuses on having a quality sex life. A typical group will comprise around 3 couples and will meet fortnightly for a period of 6 months (12 sessions).
