Feelings and emotions are difficult to navigate, with the constant pressure of the uncertainty of life. Counselling a tool that can be accessed to help deal with feelings and emotions through talking; talking to someone without judgment while sharing your deepest thoughts and feelings.
I work with trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, sexual violence, abuse, loss and bereavement. I am a Person-Centred counsellor, practicing as a counsellor for 2 years. I integrate other models into my counselling practice CBT and Psychodynamics, dependent on the client’s needs, I will adapt to my client’s needs.
I don’t have the right to anyone’s story or their feelings. It’s a privilege to hear a client’s story, for the client to trust and share their deep feelings and thoughts. As a practicing Muslim, I understand the need of faith, religion and beliefs; I work with the client’s beliefs and never impose my own beliefs upon the client.
