English
| español Hello I’m Selene. I have 20 years of experience as a counsellor. I am a warm and open-minded person with a good sense of humour. I offer a welcoming and confidential space where we can together create an empowering therapeutic relationship. I believe you are an expert in your own life and my role is to support and challenge you reconnecting with yourself and your strengths. Counselling is an opportunity to give yourself the time and space to imagine who you want to be. Sometimes fear and shame make us stuck and disconnected from others and not able to ask for what we want. Therapy can help you free yourself and open connection.
My work includes managing impact of past trauma in the present, men's and women's issues, identity, self esteem and confidence, communication and assertiveness, different stages of parenting, relationships, attachment and connection. I work with racial and cultural diversity, migration and relocation. I am open to challenging and difficult conversations.
I offer you the space for reflection, connection and freedom using language, imagery, metaphors, sand tray and other forms of creativity and self-expression. My work is influenced by my life experience and own journey, humanistic training and neuroscience. I value our connection with nature as an avenue for compassion.
