I am an integrative counsellor, I specialise in many mental health conditions and use wide range of tools along with my experience to support a person to understand and overcome their challenges in life. This support can help them to strive to reach their goals and true potential. I work with many modalities of therapy to help the client understand their presenting and past issues. This can be effective to overcome those challenges.

I am interested in people. How we think, feel, and act in relationships, and how we are affected through our lives. I think we always try to do our best, but sometimes we get stuck. I value openness, and I invite you to bring your challenges to therapy where we understand more about what happens. I aim to help you clear a path for better flow in your life and work journey. I value creating a healthy baseline - moving & eating well, sleeping soundly, contact with nourishing people, and living with awareness. I am experienced in Gestalt and Deep Brain approaches - check out: www.relationalchange.org / www.deepbrainreorienting.com

My firm belief is that the first meeting is vital to building a good rapport and I pride myself on supporting my clients on their initial phone call, our first meeting and continuing throughout therapy. This allows the person to feel safe, secure and relaxed, whilst exploring their issues from past and/or present. Exploring past or present traumatic events in a clients life is my speciality however some clients may not want to explore past trauma, then the clients choice is ultimately important & respected. Clients are at the heart of every session and have the right to explore where they feel comfortable.

Your relationships affect the way you feel and difficulties can make you very unhappy, hurt and angry. One in five say their relationship is in distress. Some reasons people give are - emotional pain and distress, feeling unloved, conflict, infidelity, sex, different outlooks, children, career, addiction or family relationships. Communication, is often cited as at the heart of a distressed relationship, each of us thinks we are clear about telling our loved ones what is going on for us and we get frustrated when they just ‘don’t hear us’. It can all be very confusing and difficult to resolve.

Are you struggling to know how to support your child? Are you concerned about your teenager's emotional wellbeing? Are you looking for your own support to allow you to be the parent you want to be? It is normal for your child to experience ups and downs as they grow, but sometimes they need some extra help to get them back on track. As a parent, it can sometimes be difficult to know how best to help. You may be seeking some advice or support for your own mental health. I provide a calm, nurturing and compassionate space to allow us together to explore, understand and manage the difficulties you or your child are facing.

Hi, I’m Cassie. My practice style is genuine, warm and most importantly - human! I believe that people find healing through the connections they build in relationships. However, for many people, current relationships don’t provide the conditions required to unpack and process their challenges. As a therapist, I've supported individuals addressing issues like depression, anxiety, life transitions, family dynamics, and trauma survival, including sexual and domestic abuse.

I assume you have something you would like to talk privately to somebody about. I wonder what it is like to be you. Do you often feel alien, struggling to understand and be understood by others? Is finding friends and keeping them hard? Would you rather avoid groups whilst wanting to belong? Does change hit you hard? Do you feel distant from others and even yourself? And maybe answering seemingly simple questions, such as “how are you?” or “what do you need?” feels difficult. I have some idea of what that is like. I offer you acceptance within a non-judgemental, empathic therapeutic relationship.

How to describe the massive impact of loss and grief on our hearts, minds and daily life? The weight, chaos and turmoil of grief is a common experience which plays out uniquely in each of us. We lose interest in just about everything; nothing seems to matter. We're often frightened, wondering whether how we feel today we'll still be feeling in the distant future. We're often angry, intolerant of others. We seek so many reassurances... We don't want to let go of our grief because it's connected powerfully to the one we love and miss. How can we learn to let grief share our life? How can we understand it? How can we keep afloat?

Whatever your reasons for being here, you are very welcome. I provide a very safe and confidential space to people from ALL walks of life. Whatever difficulties you are experiencing I can help you to gain insight into why they exist and persist. Psychodynamic therapy helps you to bring that which is unconscious into conscious awareness which helps you to understand and resolve internal conflicts that cause suffering. These internal conflicts manifest as, for example, anxiety, depression and self-destructive behaviours, particularly in relationship with others. Psychodynamic therapy is effective in enabling life long change.

I specialise in supporting adults who are feeling overwhelmed. Stress can happen with a sudden change such as bereavement, job loss or relationship ending. It can also build with an increase in responsibilities. There can be times when life is quiet, giving you time to remember difficult past events. These memories can be troubling and make everyday life difficult. Overwhelm can show up as anxiety, low mood, avoiding things you used to enjoy. Perhaps work is too much now, or you find you are drinking/eating more than usual. Your sleep pattern may have changed. Effective help is here now.
