Hi, my name's Sarah and I'm a clinical psychologist. The decision to see a therapist can feel daunting and anxiety provoking. Please be reassured that this is absolutely normal. In a therapy session I will give you my support and the compassion that you may be needing at this time. I would like to help you by first gaining a good understanding of the difficulties that you are facing. Using my expertise (from many years of psychology training and work with clients), my aim would be to work with you to find a way forward that is going to enhance your life and enable you to live a life that feels richer and more fulfilling.
Each person I work with is unique. I therefore work in an integrative way; this involves combining my knowledge of a number of different therapeutic models and integrating them into the therapy when considered helpful. I provide short and long-term therapy, and am happy to see people on a frequent or less frequent basis depending on your needs.
I have worked in the field of mental health since 2002, working in a wide variety of roles both in the NHS, and also mental health charities. I now dedicate my time solely to providing psychology services in the private sector. I can therefore offer flexibility with appointment times and days.
