I have over 15 years' experience as a psychotherapist mostly in private practice but also within the NHS. If you are feeling anxious or depressed or experiencing difficulties in relationships then starting a psychotherapy or analysis may help. My approach is collaborative. Sessions provide an opportunity for us to attend to what is surfacing in your thoughts and feelings and interactions with others. Over time the underlying dynamics, including inner conflicts and anxieties, may reveal themselves. The process of reflecting together on what emerges can bring new perspectives and the possibility of change.
I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with adults. Both approaches are dedicated to understanding your inner world but differ in terms of their scope and setting. Psychotherapy involves attending sessions at least once a week. Psychoanalysis is a more intensive exploration that requires more frequent sessions, up to 5 times a week.
