I am a Clinical Supervisor and Counsellor. I work with adults and couples experiencing a variety of issues, such as - divorce and relationship breakdown; bereavement and loss; anxiety; depression; anger; trauma; childhood abuse; self harm; low self-esteem. I practise an integrative, person-centred approach which focuses on the relationship between counsellor and client. It is the development of trust and understanding within this relationship which enables the client to acknowledge their problems and issues at their own pace and to realise solutions, with gentle encouragement and support.
Diploma in Integrative Counselling and BACP Registered Member. Therapeutic play practitioner. Enhanced DBS Certificate. Professional Indemnity Insurance. I offer supportive and collaborative face to face to face supervision, particularly interested in working with supervisees who want to bring client(s) in a ‘felt’ sense & work creatively and/or outdoors.
I practise in comfortable, confidential surroundings in Harwich, Essex and central Ipswich, Suffolk. I offer the time, space and confidentiality to explore any difficulties you may be experiencing and to understand your feelings so that you can move forward. Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs daytime and evening sessions available.
