| español I am a trained clinical psychologist and I have also received training in Systemic Psychotherapy (a branch of Humanistic Psychology), Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Criminology. I have over for 14 years’ experience in therapeutic provision for women and their families. My great passion is a Gender Theory, on which I have also trained. I adhere to the systemic psychotherapeutic model: I use active listening to develop an environment of mutual trust, a safe and serene space for client and practitioner that allows for both to progress in the therapeutic process.
I consider the connection between therapist and client to be the key, engaging in non-judgemental listening without labels and moving at the pace of the client. Warmth and empathy are qualities that my clients value from my therapeutic work. My focus will be on you and we will work together on your personal goals, the outcomes you want to achieve.
The core of our work will be the present and the near future, where you are now and your next steps. Despite this, we may need to revisit significant moments in your life to jointly develop a working hypothesis. It can help us understand when the problem exists from, and what keeps it in the present. I will do therapy only with the Spanish speaking community
