I have 20 years experience of helping people with OCD, phobias, social anxiety, generalised anxiety, worry, panic, emetophobia, health anxiety, depression, body dysmorphic disorder, habit disorders (e.g. skin picking & hair pulling), low self-esteem, perfectionism, stress & insomnia. It is common to experience more than one of these at the same time; I can support you to understand the relationship between them & where to start.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is my area of core expertise. I am also trained in Compassion Focused Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. Alongside my private work, I am the Principal Therapist for Highly Specialist National NHS Service for OCD/BDD and can offer an expert level of care for people suffering with obsessional disorders.
I am passionate about guiding people to overcome their difficulties and move forward in their lives. I work very collaboratively as I find it helps to put our heads together to find techniques that enable you to reach your goals. My approach is warm, compassionate and empathic thus creating a space where you can feel safe, understood and able to flourish.
