Hi, I'm Ruby! I am an Integrative counsellor working in Burnham-on-Sea and North Somerset. As an Integrative counsellor, I use differnt approaches to help clients as I believe that each modality has it's benefits, and each person is different. I use Person-Centred counselling, CBT skills, Psychoeducation and Neuroscience to taylor the session for the needs of the client. I work with adults and young people within a school environment. I can work with young people 11+ privately also.
I believe that natural positive growth happens when the therapeutic relationship between the counsellor and client is a safe, non-judgmental and understanding space. It is important to feel comfortable and safe with your counsellor, and I am an advocate for changing your therapist if it isn't the right fit.
