Are you struggling to cope after a significant life event or change? This could be a change in physical health, a trauma or a transition such as a pregnancy or the menopause. If so I may be able to help. I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working within psychological services in the NHS and private practice. I have an interest in working with individuals who are struggling with long term physical health conditions, as well as issues relating to pregnancy. My overriding goal is to support clients to move their lives in the direction they personally feel is most meaningful and rewarding.
I like to take an individualised approach when thinking about a client’s difficulties. I consider my approach to be compassionate, non-judgmental and collaborative. I draw upon a number of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy and EMDR.
