I understand that seeking counselling for the first time can be daunting. Life can be overwhelming and difficult to make sense of on our own sometimes. Often people don't know where to go for support. Therapy can help you to explore your problems in a confidential, safe space without judgement. Through building a trusting and open relationship where you feel heard and understood I believe that we all have the potential to grow and heal.
As a person centred counsellor my aim is to understand what it is like to be you and to work through any presenting issues in a non judgemental and empathic way. I use a creative and flexible approach to my work. I have over 10 years experience working with learning disability and autism and can adapt counselling techniques to be fully accessible.
