I have a lot of experience with anxiety, both personally and professionally, and I know that it can often be misunderstood. Anxiety can be exhausting, and stand in the way of the life you want to live. Whether you're experiencing panic attacks, avoiding things you want to do, or just feeling overwhelmed, counselling can help you to break the cycle of anxiety. I have always felt that the most important part of my role as a counsellor is to help you feel comfy and safe. That way, you can relax and share your story without worrying about being judged or misunderstood, and we can work together to find the solutions that work for you.

I have a diploma in therapeutic counselling from the CPCAB. I also attend regular, ongoing training to keep me updated on a number of topics. I'm an accredited member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society. I also have experience working as a counsellor within a secondary school, and within an organisation supporting those with eating disorders.
Making sense of how you feel, and knowing how to move forward, can be really difficult to do alone. Counselling offers a chance for you to connect to your feelings, tell your story and better understand yourself. By drawing on my training and experience, I can help guide you through the process of therapy.
