I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, with several years’ experience supporting individuals privately and in the voluntary sector. I provide therapy which is accepting and supportive to enable you to safely and creatively explore what it is you are struggling with. We can all become stuck or disconnected at times. Therapy can help us slow down for a moment, feel safe enough to re-connect with ourselves. It is then possible to reflect and discover what it is our bodies are telling us we need to move towards change or to feel freer in ourselves. I provide short, medium, long-term and open-ended therapy to adults.
Understanding what drives us to behave in certain ways, particularly when these ways are no longer working for us, can be an important first step towards finding new, more effective, ways of meeting our needs. I will sit alongside you, seeking to understand the problem from your perspective.
I want to help you figure out how to live more fully so you can allow yourself to feel more joy, and feel more equipped to deal with any bumps in the road. Being heard, accepted and validated helps us to develop a better relationship with ourselves helps us build more fulfilling relationships with others. This is integral to what I can offer.
