I am an experienced, MBACP registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I aim to support and guide my clients through the turbulent times in life and work together to find the path of resilience which leads to enhanced life skills, positive living, and success. I work integratively bringing together a number of modalities, Person Centred, CBT, Existential, Psychodynamics, and Gestalt practices, while working very much through a medium of empathy with my client. Some areas of specialism: trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship issues, and gender-based violence, ADHD. I identify as complex neurodivergent.
I am an empathy specialist. I wrote my dissertation on empathy and have continued to study and make empathy the core of my practice. Although I work with a broad range of issues I also specialize in Neurodivergance, particularly ADHD. I can help you understand your ADHD and Autism and to discover if you might qualify for an ADHD/Autism diagnosis.
I like to work with my clients first and foremost through the development of an empathic relationship where by I concern myself with your present reality and the impact the problem is having on you and from this close empathic understanding we will work together to discover your path to a happier existence. I care deeply about the well-being of my clients.
