Welcome to my counselling practice. I am an accredited member of the BACP, and my approach is embodied, relational, experiential. By that I mean I aim to welcome everything about you, meet your more fully in relationship, and create a safe space for whatever you need to explore, such as… • anxiety • depression • trauma • relationship problems • sexuality • low self-esteem • suicidal feelings • stress or anger • work problems • affects of abuse • bereavement • spiritual emergency.
My practice is currently online. I’ve been practicing as a counsellor since 2005, and have 20+ years experience of consistently working through my own issues in a variety of settings, because it is my understanding that as a counsellor I can’t go with clients where I haven’t been myself. I consider this an essential part of what I can offer as a therapist.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic counselling and a post diploma award in psychotherapeutic counselling and embodied relational therapy, and continuing professional development certificates in subjects such as trauma therapy, developmental attachment and issues of separation and loss. I am an accredited member of the BACP. I also offer Supervision.
