I am a Clinical Psychologist (HCPC registered) with over a decade of experience working across NHS and private settings supporting individuals, couples and families with a range of difficulties using a compassionate, individual focused approach. I can help you better understand and cope with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, worry, low mood, feeling stressed or overwhelmed, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and overcoming difficult or traumatic experiences. I have a special interest and experience in supporting parents and those within the perinatal period (pregnancy, birth and adjusting to parenthood).
I aim to work flexibly alongside you to adapt our therapy to your needs, preferences and current circumstances. I predominantly use a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, but I will draw on my experience of a range of different evidence based therapies depending on what best fits your difficulties and what complements you as a person.
I understand that therapy can often be a daunting prospect. I aim to create a non-judgmental, compassionate and collaborative therapy space to help you feel comfortable and understood. Through therapy I hope to empower you to move towards your personal goals and ultimately be able to live a more fulfilling life in line with your strengths and values.
