Hello, thank you for visiting my page. I am an Art psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist. I help people who may be feeling depressed, anxious, experienced trauma, experienced loss or need a space to explore past experiences and relationships. Together we start where you feel safe and think about your goals for therapy. Sometimes words are too difficult and we need another tool to help talk. The use of art materials whilst speaking can create a non-intrusive and gentle way to explore past experiences. Or use of EMDR to help process difficult memories.
My art therapy practice is psychodynamic, we may think about how your past experiences and relationships may be affecting your present. Together we can process these experiences and discover a new way forward. I can provide both art therapy and EMDR or i accept referrals for just EMDR and i will use my therapeutic skills along side.
I believe the therapeutic relationship to be the most important part of therapy, therefor I provide a free 30-minute consultation to get to know you and to discuss if art therapy and EMDR would be most benefical.
