I work with people to help them make sense of their emotions and process their experiences through therapy. I work with people who have had challenging childhoods, family relationships and work lives, or have experienced abuse and trauma. My work includes deeply understanding life changing experiences of loss, bereavement, anxiety and depression. I also work with people who feel that they might need counselling but are unsure about the causes and maintenances of their feelings and behaviours. Life is varied and complex- your reasons for coming to counselling might be too.
I offer person centred counselling & psychotherapy and I have specialist experience in helping people who have experienced domestic, family or childhood abuse. I can be with you in your confusion, pain, anger & fear.
Recognising and owning that you are feeling unfulfilled, stuck or not coping can be a terrifying but necessary step in moving forward. I will work with you at your pace and create an environment accepting and challenging enough that real change can occur for you.
