Hello and thanks for stopping! I love what I do. 'Extremely easy to talk to'...'turned things around for me'...'helped save my life' being a few client comments. I'm 10 years qualified. During that time I've worked with serving police officers and civilian staff at Merseyside Police, those supported by Victim Support Homicide Service, VI Form students, and Occupational Health clients I know that being a counsellor is something that was always meant for me because I have an affinity with people and being able to be 'with' them. This and my life experience gives me the perfect grounding to be the best that I can be for my clients.
Experiencing different emotions, different pain, needing different things makes us all unique. I acknowledge that uniqueness and is why I work with an integrative approach, bringing in what it is I feel you need to flourish. I think that's really important, to feel comfortable in your own skin and I provide a safe haven to listen to you without judgement.
I also offer Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) - a really kind and gentle way to relieve psychological distress. It can take away our life-limiting barriers and change those things that have a way of holding us back. That 'imposter syndrome' that beats us up! I'll hear you through your words and listen through your silence - I know both have so much to say.
