I specialise in male and female sexual difficulties and in relationship issues and work with couples and individuals. Sexual issues may have a physiological and/or psychological cause and include: loss of intimacy and desire, mismatched libidos, orgasm difficulties, erectile dysfunction, premature and delayed ejaculation, vaginismus, sexual pain, menopause, sexual phobia and anxiety, lack of confidence and issues with porn use. Relationship issues include: infidelity, loss of trust, communication difficulties, lack of intimacy/connection, adjusting to change, conflict, stress and anxiety, separation and different attachment styles.
Sometimes we need help to tackle distressing issues in our sex lives or relationships. Working with a qualified therapist can help you gain the insight and confidence to improve your situation. I work collaboratively with clients, utilising a combination of talking therapy, behaviour change and practical exercises designed to meet the client's goals.
I'm an experienced Relate and NHS trained therapist and offer a supportive, confidential space to talk, either in person or online. It takes courage to face and address upsetting, personal issues but most people feel a great sense of relief when they start tackling their difficulties and begin to see a happier, more fulfilling future ahead.
